Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Friday that Kiev and Washington are currently "coordinating the schedule" for the visit of the United States delegation to the conflict-hit country at the end of spring or the beginning of summer.
Writing on his social media profile, Zelensky said that Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov discussed humanitarian issues and security guarantees during his latest meeting with the US. "Importantly, there is a constructive approach, and we need to move toward peace by strengthening Ukraine and our bilateral relations with the United States," he noted.
Earlier in the day, Zelensky accused Russia of continuing to target Ukraine despite declaring a Victory Day ceasefire.
